The card featured defenses of two UFC champions—Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva and Lightweight Champion Sean Sherk, who both won their titles at UFC 64. This action-packed nine-bout card also features a Heavyweight duel between Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira making his UFC debut against Heath Herring and a light heavyweight match between former UFC Champion Tito Ortiz and The Ultimate Fighter 2 heavyweight winner Rashad Evans. Other fighters featured include Hermes Franca, Sean Sherk, Alvin Robinson, Kenny Florian, Chris Lytle, Jason Gilliam, Diego Saraiva, Jorge Gurgel, Mike Nickels and Steven Bonnar.

UFC 74: Respect DVD

August 25, 2007 - UFC 74: Respect - Live from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main event features a UFC heavyweight championship bout between UFC heavyweight champion Randy Couture defending his title against Gabriel Gonzaga, who knocked out Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipović at UFC 70 to become the number one contender. Former UFC and TKO welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre is matched up against The Ultimate Fighter's Josh Koscheck in his first fight since losing his title to Matt Serra at UFC 69. The card also feature former heavyweight champion Frank Mir against K-1 veteran Antoni Hardonk, The Ultimate Fighter 3's winner Kendall Grove, the UFC debut of PRIDE veteran Marcus Aurelio, The Ultimate Fighter 2's winner Joe Stevenson, and former light heavyweight challenger Renato "Babalu" Sobral.

In addition British light heavyweight Michael Bisping, who won The Ultimate Fighter 3 contest in 2006, faces Team Punishment's Matt Hamill, who rivaled with Bisping during the taping of The Ultimate Fighter 3. This DVD also features a heavyweight bout between PRIDE and K-1 veteran Mirko ''Cro Cop'' Filipović and French Muay Thai kickboxer Cheick Kongo.
